This policy sets out how Founded Technologies Inc. ("Law Scout") uses, protects, and preserves information and documents submitted by users to the Website. By using Law Scout and by submitting information through our Website, you are agreeing to the terms of this policy (the "Policy"). By accessing the Website you agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and this Policy.

1. Information We Collect and Store.

In order to connect you to a lawyer and to assist you in working with a lawyer, we collect and retain the information you enter through the Webiste. The Website engages technologies and platforms which are owned and managed by third-party service provicers, including"Typeform").We regularly delete information submitted by users to Typeform from our administrative account.

We cannot control or dictate how your lawyer or any third-party website, including Typeform, will treat your information. We advise you to contact those parties directly to review their privacy policy.

Information and provided to Law Scout by a lawyer working on your behalf will also be held and stored by Law Scout.

If you choose to create an account with Law Scout, we will retain all contact information submitted to us, including your name, email address, and mailing address. We will not use this information to contact you for any reason unrelated to your use of Law Scout. We will not provide this contact information to any third party except for the lawyer or lawyers who provide you with legal services. We will not use your identifying or confidential information for any commercial reason unrelated to Law Scout.

To learn about your user experience and to make periodic improvements to Law Scout, we also collect the information regularly collected by web browsers. This may include your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, the web page visited before you came to the Website, information you search for on the Website, locale preferences, identification numbers associated with your devices, your mobile carrier, date and time stamps associated with transactions, system configuration information, metadata, and other interactions with the Service.

We also use "cookies" to collect information and improve the Service. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your device. We may use "persistent cookies" to save your user ID and login password for future logins to the Service. We may use "session ID cookies" to enable certain features of the Service, to better understand how you interact with the Service and to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on the Service. To process all payments made through the Website, we use Stripe ( We do not store users' credit card information, nor do we provide credit card information to lawyers who are engaged to provide legal services to users.

2. How We Use Your Information.

We use your information only for purposes of facilitating your use of the Webiste and to assist us in improving the Service. We do not use your information for any additional or unrelated commercial purposes.

Except where required by law, we will share your information only with the lawyer engaged to provide the legal services you have selected.

3. Retaining Your Information.

If you want us to permanently delete your information from our servers at any time, please send an email to [email protected]. We will ensure your information is deleted in a reasonable time after receiving that request.

So long as your account remains active, we will preserve your account information and all documents stored therein. Law Scout aspires to be a reliable, safe place to store your legal documents online for future reference. To serve that purpose, we will not delete your account or your personal information unless you tell us to.

We will also retain any and all information that we are required to retain under any applicable laws.

4. Keeping Your Information Secure.

We store your information only in electronic format on industry standard servers that we have selected.

The servers we select to store information engage security software and generally accepted standards to protect the information submitted to us in order to safeguard the privacy of your personal information from unauthorized access or improper use. However, no security system is perfect and there is always a risk of unauthorized parties accessing your personal information. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information or any documents stored on the Website.

5. Encryption.

All data is encrypted via Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") encryption and sent using HTTPS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. Our database backups are also encrypted.

Emails sent from Law Scout to Users are in unencrypted form, as many Users are unable to access encrypted emails.

6. Law Scout is not for Children.

The services offered on the Website are not intended to be accessed by children. We therefore do not take any special precautions to protect the information of persons under the age of 18. In the event any information is submitted by a person under the age of 18, we will delete that information immediately upon being advised of that person's age.
